Record numbers for the Southburn Christmas Fayre

This years Southburn Christmas Fayre raised over £24,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support!!!!

Despite the economic climate a staggering 25% more people attended the annual event at Driffield Showground on the 15th November 2011.

"Amidst all the gloom and doom East Yorkshire came up trumps with a near record profit of over £24,000, against all national trends we had 25% more punters through the door..."

So £24,000 goes to Macmillan Cancer Support making the total raised in 18 years by the Southburn Fayre over £300,000 which we think is a staggering acieivement - WELL DONE!! This £300,000 has helped people across East Yorkshire who are living with cancer and their families.

But the team won't rest on their achievements and the date for the fayre next year is set - TUESDAY, 13th November 2012
